HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The price per participant is € 2450. Your place to participate will be reserved after full payment of the amount, and after you returned the completed and signed registration form to wim@walkforgold.be. This at the latest 1 month before the departure date.
WHICH TRAVEL DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO TRAVEL?
There we go on this trips with so many different nationalities, it is impossible to cover all here. We will be glad to inform every person from the moment of inscription. Either identity card or passport must be valid for another six months after departure from Egypt.
HOW DO I BOOK FLIGHT TICKET?
The flight to Sharm el-Sheikh airport and back is not included in the fee. This allows you to book a flight following your own desired comfort and itinerary. Please be sure to arrive in Sharm El Sheikh airport before 1 PM the day the retreat starts . You can contact your local travel agent, or you can easily book online. If you need any assistance with this, we will be happy to help you out after you contacted us.
HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE WITH PEOPLE BACK HOME?
You will be participating in a (Silent) Retreat. It’d be best to only call or use the internet in extreme cases. Remember that calling or using the Internet is quite expensive in Egypt. In fact, change the settings on your phone (or get them changed) so that you don't accidentally use your data. Use your mobile phone as little as possible – unless you want to take beautiful photos!
WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
Choose comfortable clothing so that you can move freely. Include both summer and winter clothing because the desert can be unpredictable. Put on a thick jumper and a jacket on departure so that you can save space in the backpack. Get a good sleeping bag. If you quickly get cold, carry a hot water bottle. Our guides will happily provide you hot water in the desert.

WHAT SORT OF SUPPORT DO WE GET DURING THE RETREAT?
Je kan 24/24 u rekenen op onze organisatie. Mezelf en onze gidsen staan altijd klaar met een brede glimlach voor het welslagen van jouw (stilte)retraite. Wij zullen er altijd een volle 100 percent voor jou zijn als je ons nodig hebt.
Als blijkt dat er een moment is dat je liever niet wandelt kan je te allen tijde gebruik maken van één van de kamelen.
IS THERE A WARRENTY FOR DEPARTURE?
Once you have send back the filled in and signed registration & intake form, and you have payed the total amount, your adventure is going to happen. You can book your flight and pack your bags. Only situations that are out of our control can be a reason for cancelation. In the latter case you will get a full re-payment or you can choose to come and join our retreat on a different date.
